Hi, my name is Fabio, I am a freelance IT consultant with the skill set and experience that can help you to improve your business.

I build e-commerce websites and develop customised software to meet specific business needs. My consultancies range from network security to agile programming.

I am passionate about open source software and love working with GNU/Linux, Python and the Django web framework.

    DjangoQGIS is a Django-based software that acts as a wrapper around the QGIS web client and provides some additional functionalities (eg: handy management of several QGIS projects). In partnership with Gis3W.

  • DigiWebStats

    January 2013

    DigiWebStats is a minimal Flask web application that acts as a front-end to DigiWeight (see next entry). It connects to a MS Sql Server and pretty-prints data on the web.

    DigiWeight allows to manage an industrial weighing device through a touch panel computer. It is written in Python and takes advantage of Kivy, a modern GUI library particularly suited for multitouch devices.

    OpenMunicipio is a not for profit open-government project, initiated by the Openpolis and InformaEtica associations. I was involved in the project as a Python/Django developer.
